East London is the place for the hipsters, the absolute coolest area of this big city.

Today I’m sharing my best tips for places you absolutely have to visit if you’re taking the trip to East London. All of the places I’m telling you about are personally visited by me, so this is no impersonal travel guide, but places that are genuinely worth checking out.

  • Bethnal Green Road. Dette er gaten som alltid blir fornyet. De kuleste pop-up-butikkene i London finner du her.
  • The Magic Roundabout.
  • Columbia Road Flower Market.
  • Bethnal Green Road. This is the street where you will always find something new and exciting. The coolest pop-up shops in London can be found here.
  • The Magic Roundabout. A nearly hidden stairwell in the Old Street tube station leads to the coolest bar in London, on the roof of the tube station, and in the middle of a roundabout. It’s called magic for a reason.
  • Inspitalfields. Even if you’re not into food stalls and vintage-shopping, you still need to head to Old Spitalfields Market just to get a look at the shop Inspitalfields. They’ve got the prettiest interior and trinkets. I always visit this shop, even if it’s too pricey for me.
  • Columbia Flower Market. Even if you can’t go flower-shopping, you should still visit this market just to have a look at all the beautiful things there are there.
  • Street Art. My best tip for East London is just to walk around so you can see all the cool buildings with street art on the walls. East is definitely the coolest part of London.
