Sunday Positivity #28

Heiiii. Here goes…

//Heyy. Can you tell that I’m happy today? Life is GREAT, and unfortunately, you’re being spammed all about it on Instagram. Can you deal with a tiny bit more? Here goes…

Ukens takknemlige tanke:

//Something I was grateful for this week:

I’m grateful for people who go out of their way to make a strangers day better. It’s a good reminder of the impact our actions can have on people we encounter in our day.

Three lovely things that happened this week:

  • I got the opportunity to be a photographer for a day for a new project at work. I was bopping around in two luxurious villas with my camera and a rented camera lens, with full light setup and interior designers who sorted out the details in the shots. It was SO much fun, and I felt a huge sense of achievement. On my way home from work that day I was thinking: “this is what I want to do.”
  • A group of complete strangers invited me to dinner with them, and it turned out to be the best night in forever. I want to write a blog post just about that experience.
  • I felt comfortable in my own company. The loneliness has been creeping in, but I’ve made the best out of it and managed to enjoy the time alone.

Something I want to do to make next week even better:

Say yes more. It has proved to be a good idea.

  1. I’ve been seeing your wonderful encounters with strangers on Instagram! I can’t imagine anything like that happening to me ever, though I know it’s in my power to make it so! Would looove to read a post about your dinner with the strangers ^-^ Also, did you ever take any strangers up on taking the cafe photos for you, or did your tripod suffice? ;D -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    1. I know, it was pretty magical! I still really want to write about it, I have a few notes on my phone from the night so maybe I’ll post it. My tripod worked amazingly haha! It fit so well in that specific café because I could prop the tripod up on the table in the corner, so nobody could really see it, and the café was empty except for the barista, so it was just the perfect opportunity. Don’t know if I’ll dare do it again in another café if I have to put the tripod on the floor in plain sight haha, that might be a bit awkward.

I'd love it if you left a comment
