Sunday Positivity #23

//Right now I’m drinking homemade iced latte and eating donuts at my grandparents’. I was supposed to come here around four to eat dinner, but at two my grandma suddenly showed up to my mom’s flat to come get me. When I asked why they came that early she said “because I want to spend more time with you”. She’s the sweetest.

Ukens takknemlige tanke:

  • Middag hos besteforeldrene mine i dag.

//Something I was grateful for this week:

I’m grateful for my workdays. I’m interning as a full-time journalist and it’s really educational and fun.

Three lovely things that happened this week:

  • The wine night with my girlfriends last night was so much fun. Time to play Taylor Swift loudly from the speakers and chats that made us cry from laughter.
  • Dinner with my grandparents’ today. It’s so lovely to be home and able to see them again.
  • My mom made waffles on Monday and we had the nicest teatime together. I’ll say it again; it’s so nice to be home.

Something I want to do to make next week even better:

Go hiking! I have to enjoy the nature in Northern Norway while I’m here, so I really need to get out of the house more, even if the weather is cold and rainy.

I'm Martine, a bubbly and talkative twenty-one-year-old who's currently living in London. I love friendly people, sad films, silly movies, photography and blogging. Especially blogging.

  1. Love spending time with my grandparents as well! Your grandma seems lovely! Oh and Taylor Swift songs are just the best for nights in with friends xx

  2. It feels so good to be surrounded by people who love you! Homemade iced latte and doughnuts sounds soooo good. Have a great time hiking next week! For me, I need to try to get out of the house, even if it’s hot and humid haha -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
