Sunday Positivity #13

Nummer 13, mitt favorittall!

Heihei!

//We’re on 13, my favourite number!

Hey there! I’m checking in from a rather hectic, but equally lovely Sunday. This week has actually been pretty productive on the blogging front, I just haven’t published anything. I’ve finally recorded my answers from the Q&A, so the video will be up on YouTube and the blog as soon as possible.

Other than that, you could see on my Instagram this week that it was my birthday on Tuesday, so now I have to change my blog bio and about me page to say that I’m 21 and not 20 anymore! Lastly, I chopped off all of my hair again, to my mother’s despair. I feel really chic and cute, if you just ignore the slightly butchered fringe. The hairdresser misunderstood what I meant, so I ended up crying a few tears in the salon, poor him. Oh well, it’ll grow out again, and the rest of the hairstyle is gorgeous!

Ukens takknemlige tanke:

//Something I was grateful for this week:

I’m grateful for living with my boyfriend Herman, and how happy we are together. It’s lovely to have someone to go through everyday life with, someone to cook dinner with and wake up with every morning.

Three lovely things that happened this week:

  • My friend Sarah spent the whole birthday with me, which made the day really nice. I had expected to be all alone on campus the whole day, but Sarah made it a lot better.
  • I changed up my hair and feel like a new woman, it’s amazing.
  • Herman and I booked a three day long trip to Amsterdam this Easter. It’s so nice to have something to look forward to.

Something I could have done to make the week even better:

Not done all those late nights. It was good for my Uni work, because I work better in the night, but I always feel so bad when I wake up in the afternoon the next day.

What are you grateful for this week?

I'm Martine, a bubbly and talkative twenty-one-year-old who's currently living in London. I love friendly people, sad films, silly movies, photography and blogging. Especially blogging.

  1. Yay for new haircuts! I love changing up my hairstyle because it’s just hair after all. Though I usually only go to the salon twice a year. I like growing my hair out really long over the course of half a year, then chopping it off. My hair stylists are always hesitant to chop my hair off because they’re afraid that I’m a girl who has had long hair all her life and will be traumatised by short hair, or so I suppose 😛 In fact, I regularly grow it out and chop it off. It’s so refreshing! And I’m always amazed by how much easier it is to wash short hair. // “Not done all those late nights.” ME TOO. Except I work better in the morning/afternoon, so I really shouldn’t be staying up. I think I stay up anyway because I always think, I should do more work though. I’m trying to be better about sleeping and realising that I really am not a night owl and should just go to sleep. But if you are a night owl, I think you could work with that, unless you have morning appointments, which might be difficult then -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    1. Thank you so so much for all these lovely comments! You have no idea how happy they make me <3 Haha yep I'm the same, I grow my hair out then I cut it again. But I quite like it short so I think I'm gonna keep it for a bit!

I'd love it if you left a comment
