A good friend came to visit / Sunday Positivity #30

Hei dere, lenge siden sist.

//Hi there, long time no see. Thank you for checking in here, I appreciate it. Blogging and Social Media don’t come that easy to me at the moment and I don’t really know why. But that’s okay too because life is meant to be lived and that’s why I’m doing! However, I have been writing a lot and taking a whole lot of photos I would love to share, even if it’s a bit scattered all over the place. How does that sound?

Ukens takknemlige tanke:

//Something I was grateful for this week:

I’m grateful for my friends.

Three lovely things that happened this week:

  • My friend Henriette came to visit me here in Amsterdam, and it’s been so good to be with her. New friendships are great, but nothing can beat good conversations with someone who truly knows you.
  • I got Friday off work, so Henri and I could stay out late Thursday night, drink cocktails and wine and then have the whole day together the next day. So nice!
  • We had Sushi for dinner yesterday, which was amazing. Henri and I absolutely love sushi and we have it all the time when we hang out together. In London the sushi sucks, but here in Amsterdam, our dinner lived up to our expectations!

Something I want to do to make next week even better:

Do yoga, cook proper dinner, and take care of myself so the time alone won’t make me sad and lonely.

I'm Martine, a bubbly and talkative twenty-one-year-old who's currently living in London. I love friendly people, sad films, silly movies, photography and blogging. Especially blogging.

  1. Oh my gosh that stack of pancakes on the blue plate is a piece of art!!! Such beautiful colours <3 <3 <3 Having Friday off is the best. I remember in college that I would always try to schedule classes Monday-Thursday and keep Friday free. It's only one day, but it really makes all the difference! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
